El Sistema Lehigh Valley students join American violinist Lindsey Deutch for a master class.

On March 5th, 2020, El Sistema Lehigh Valley’s fellowship students put on a wonderful master class led by Lindsey Deutch. Deutch is an American violinist who made her debut at the age of 11 with the Clear Lake Symphony in Texas. Throughout her career, she has been featured in countless symphonies across the United States.

Lindsey Deutch was in town to join the Allentown Symphony Orchestra during their performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, “Pastoral.” At the concert, Deutsch also performed selections from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons and Piazzolla’s The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires.

Days before the concert, Lindsey Deutsh joined our program to work with students, Brianna Herrara on violin, Jasson Benitez on viola, and Saige Kauffman on cello. Deutsch also coached this same group as they played a student quartet which also featured fellowship student Alessandra Pacheco.
